I am putting a electric fireplace in our 2014 jayco whitehawk so my question is does anyone know what kind of wood they use to make the cabinets frame i need to make a filler due to the fireplace is a little smaller than the cabinet its going in

In ours, the cabinet face-frames are a combination of either MDF or plywood, wrapped with vinyl. The cabinet doors appear to be birch. I'd ask Jayco if you can order some of the vinyl wrap. Of course, you'd probably need to order it through your dealer.

Check with LOWES - They carry all kinds of different cabinet project wood material.

Yeah the cabinet doors are real wood, but the frames in most cases are not......
