Headed North from central NJ area.
Headed to Salem MA this weekend. Staying at Winter Island state park and need some help. I ran a trip planner on the goodsam app and it has me headed via the Geo Wash bridge. Google does the same. I always see fellow campers posting to avoid it at all costs if possible and take Tap or other route. Just wondering why? I’m from the NY/NJ area so I’m used to bad roads and traffic. But Is it a traffic issue or just hard to navigate with a rig? We will be leaving early Sunday morning so rush hr will not be a problem.
I was thinking of taking 287 to 87 than 91 I believe but it adds a good hr to the trip. Any other suggestions from you guys you have done the trip before?
