Looks like some ladder logic stuff with poor descriptions.

Sorry, but I've gotta ask . . . What type of work makes your embedded puzzle seem comparatively exhilarating?

mcfarmall, yes ladder logic with correct descriptions.

Tex1961, nope, not 24.

giddyup, Process Control, I get to play with robots, machinery and PLC systems all day long.

To be, or not to be, that is the question.

Isn't it?

And I wish to heck I could be bored at work like you. I put in 14 crappy hours at my job today. They say it will get better soon.

Maybe it will. I could quit and move back down to Quartzsite for the winter again. LOL

Sweet. Sounds like fun to me. I get to play with excruciatingly (fill in the blank) people all day. Last week, I literally watched paint dry for awhile and it felt like a vacation. I am so looking forward to camping, but I also very much enjoy the challenge and off beat structure of my business life.

Btw - I'll go with 2B or not 2B - that is the question

That is correct SmokerBill!

Sorry about the 14 hours. Once in a blue moon one of the operators will do something stupid and I will have to do those long days. About 4 weeks ago I had to do a 19 hour day to get two machines back up and running because of something an operator did.

Maybe someday I will retire, you know in 17 more years if I'm lucky.

I'm used to seeing descriptions like I:1.0/13 and O:2.0/10. Were the descriptions correct for the purpose of the joke or for machine logic?

It was correct for the joke.

I agree with your I/O descriptions. You will never see descriptions like this in code I do, they are not useful in anyway

I actually saw this as part of a users signature in one of the PLC forums I go to and thought it was kinda cool.
