black tank and full hook up sites

What is the best practice when on a full hook up site?

Keep valve closed until 3/4 full or so and then dump or leave the valve open all the time?

Is it better to keep a decent amount of "fluid" in there to aid in a better flush?

Keep valve closed until 3/4 full or so and then dump.

Leaving the valve open will lead to problems. You want lots of water in your black tank before opening the valve.

Keep both tanks closed until you need to dump. Just remember that having plenty of water in the tanks is a good thing. When I dump the black tank I usually fill the toilet at least three times to the top with water.

I leave the black closed until full. I leave the grey open until the back gets about 3/4 full then I close the grey to build up soapy water to "clean out" the hose after dumping the blacl tank.
