Wrascal from LA (Lower Alabama)

Yesterday I decided to replace my 24 foot HiLo, a wonderful little thing but it was narrow for me, the bride, two large dogs and the occasional grandkids.

I looked around today -saw several things that I liked -but they all were too much money for this poor retiree. Then while headed home late this afternoon I stopped at a nearby residence who had very recently parked his "for sale" Jayco in the front yard.

While looking it over my bride and I decided it was too much trailer (and money) when out he came. He had just purchased another larger Jayco fifth and really! wanted to sell the old one.

And I really wanted a bumper pull (to use the truck bed) but he priced it right and we said ok. Tomorrow we meet at the bank.

Pic added of data plate, site flipped it to lazy on its side.

2008 Eagle 29.5RLS. That means nothing to me so would someone please decode its' meaning? Lots of space now, and as I recall, a fireplace?

TV: a 2002 F250 V10 gasoline.

When I was living in Milton, Fl (near Pensacola)we always called it LA because we were a lot closer to Mobile than Miami!

Thank you y'all, I don't know why but I wasn't notified of follow-up posts, but regardless I've stumbled back and found them.

First scheduled camp try-outs in this new RV is next Sat (thru Vets Day).

From one vet to others, always remember/appreciate those we lost.

Welcome Wrascal. We are on our last day here at Little Black Creek in MS. Back to the real world tomorrow, (sigh). RLS =Rear Living Slide. We owned at one time a
Hi Lo, also a 20 something ft. Loved that trailer! Now are in a 2008 Jayco Eagle Lite 30.5 RLS, and we are very happy with this trailer. I am sure you and your bride will enjoy the larger trailer very much. Happy camping, and God bless all who have served and are now serving.

Welcome. I miss the beaches, Blackwater River State Park, and the great seafood around Milton. We just bought our first RV, too. Old tent campers but too old to sleep on the ground!
