Just got back from San Simeon on CA central coast. Considering the weekend it was very manageable. Campground claimed to be sold out but I saw plenty if open sites all three nights.

Was at Pirate Land in Myrtle Beach since Friday night. Just got home. Weather was great except for being a lil chilly Saturday morning and Saturday night. CG was packed, looked like a summer weekend. Did a lil fishing, a lot of eating and some drinking at a local tiki bar. Also, washed and waxed TT, and cleaned the roof!

Nice choice with the Prossers excellent pulled pork there. We were at the beach all day today and was pretty busy. Hi-light of the day was helping carry my neighbors Hobie Catamaran off his boat trailer and up over the neighborhood boardwalk 75 yards to the beach. It was intresting to say the least but we made it to the water. Good times and happy Memorial day!

We spent the weekend in Luray VA. It was beautiful but chilly and we had a great time. In Charlotte NC tonight on our way back to FL after a month in MA and VT. It's the first night in a month that the furnace won't be running. Expect to be home Wednesday.

It rained from Friday untill Sunday here in Lake George. Last day here leave tomorrow. Had a great time with the new trailer. It kept us warm and dry. Temps got as low as 32 at night and was very wet. Today was awesome nice weather. Jayco makes a nice product. Still trying to figure out where to put stuff. Can't wait for the next trip.

We stayed Gooseberry Falls State Park (MN), along the North Shore (Lake Superior), it was cold and windy. The trees were just in bud. We saw a fair amount of wild life. The falls were busy with visitors, but the campgrounds was nice and quite. There is no electricity at this State Park, so the park was primarily tenters. I would guess there was less than 10% of the sites had TT or PU in them.

We've been enjoying a 4 day weekend on Hatteras Island, Waves, NC (Ocean Waves Campground). Beautiful clear sunny skies, a bit cool the first day (upper 60's) but milder the last 3 (low-mid 70's) days. Our site was less than a 100 yards from the ocean, absolutely beautiful. Our first time here and we will be returning for Labor Day weekend.

We are staying at Pirateland in mid July, what did you think of the property?

We stood just up the road at River-view camp ground Lake George NY. We made the best of it. Much needed R&R. Suprised that my 15 year old and 11 yr old got through the first 2 days stuck inside.:lightning:

We like it. Have had tt's stored there for last 10 years. Jayco dealer across the street. Remember, its the beach. Not quiet, tons of kids and golf carts. Not like camping at most cg's. If your looking for that, try Myrtle Beach State Park or the other local SP. It is sorta like a big party, if you want to make it one.

Pirate Land has a really nice water park/lazy river to enjoy but can get a bit crowded mid summer.
