City Water pressure limit
I have a 2015 32BHDS (which my wife & I love by the way) and I am having a little trouble coming up with a water pressure number. I have an adjustable water pressure regulator but I don't know what psi it should be set to. It defaults to 45psi but is that where I should leave it? I can't seem to find a published number anywhere. Thoughts?

My regulator is 50 PSI (hose-end one, not adjustable). It is definitely better than the first one I bought the day I bought the trailer which was 40 PSI. IIRC, the recommended PSI is not to exceed 60, but I can't remember where I read that... sorry

City Water pressure limit
50 psi is what most are set for. I use an adjustable Watts and I set it and forget it.
It is reckless to not have some kind of regulator. We have camped where the city water pressure was over 90 psi.

My Watts adjustable is set at 52 psi. I was tweaking it trying to hit 50 psi exactly and 52 psi was close enough.

I would think that 40 to 50 lbs would be sufficient.

I blew out some lines in my RV when I forgot the pressure regular just once. Definitely need one. Now it is set at 50.

I stay between 45-50. That seems to be enough to keep a nice flow and not worry about hurting anything.

I am new to the TT camping; however, I purchased an inexpensive in-line regulator from Camco that regulates at around 45 psi. By the time I connect the regulator and the water filter, it works fine for sink, shower and toilet water.

You don't have problems when water is flowing, You have problems when the water is not flowing. Filters may cut down flow but you can bet when the taps are all off the pressure will build.

So what is your answer? Obviously you are not going to disconnect in between usage; therefore, the only thing it seems you can do is have a pressure regulator where the water enters the TT.

You want to put the regulator before the hose, not on the trailer.

Why? To protect the hose?

Yes to protect the hose also. A hose exposed to direct sunlight on a hot day with excessive pressure in it won't last long. I am using the same hose that I started with 4 years ago and I full time. My pressure regulator has always been used before the hose and I'm sure this is the reason the hose is still going strong.

Why would anyone choose to put the regulator at the trailer and NOT protect the hose?
I think I may be a little overboard on my water connection. In sequence:
1. A "Y" with shut off's. So I can use another hose at full pressure if needed for something else.
2. Oil filled pressure gauge showing supply pressure.
3. Watts 263A adjustable regulator w/oil filled pressure gauge. Set to 50 PSI.
4. White water hose. I carry 2 - 10 ft and 1 - 25 ft white hoses.
5. Water filter.
6. 90 degree adapter attached to the city water port.
I also carry a 25 ft green garden hose for the black water tank flusher and any other purpose that may come up.

Same setup for me as well, except I just have the standard ~50 PSI screw-on regulator instead of those others you mentioned... for now.
