It depends on your trailer and your generator.

Our generator has a 30amp outlet (Champion Model 75531i, 3100 watt). Our trailer (30amp) plugs directly into that. The generator also has a 15amp duplex outlet (looks like a standard house outlet).

If your trailer has a 50amp cord, you will need an adapter (50 amp female to 30 amp male adapter) plug.

Find out for sure what your trailer has, the generator you plan to get, and then we can give more specific answers

Hello, and congratulations on the purchase. I have the same floor plan and it is a great trailer for my needs. Your trailer power cord will have a NEMA TT-30P fitting. The female receptacle that you need is a NEMA TT-30R. If your generator does not have this RV specific outlet, than you can purchase an adapter fairly cheaply from amazon. I hope this helps.

An adaptor plug for the 30A to the house type 15A comes with the trailer, at least my two Jaycos did. You might call who you bought it from to make sure.
