What I'v found in trailers is no different than cars. The least expensive cars have the least expense parts and the fit and finish is not the same....a Chevy cobolt is not even close to a decked out Tahoe. They make all types of trailers to fit more budgets...unfortunately the lowest priced trailer is not going to be made like the highest priced. Good news.....Jayco 2 year warranty. Take them in...fuss and scream if no satisfaction. They don't want all the commotion going on in the sales area. They will fix and get you out of their hair.

You are very lucky.
Soon after taking delivery of our new 2013 Eagle 284 BHS, the water heater quit working in gas mode. Since I wanted to avoid pulling the trailer 90+ miles each way to the dealer for something simple, I did a bit of trouble shooting trying to diagnose why the water heater was not working on gas only.

After the dealer looked at it, the dealer verified my findings and even swapped out the gas valve. They were scratching their heads when that didn't fix the problem. Some crawling around under the rear bunk revealed the water heater was placed on top of its gas supply hose, pinching it off.

I made several inquiries to get some sort of reimbursement for my time and fuel costs to drag the trailer back to the dealer for what was clearly a lack of quality control on the production line.

I didn't get so much as a T-shirt.
