tv problem

Watching channel 8.2. Turned on light over table and pic locked up and sound went off. Turned light off everything came back. This happens on all channels below 13.2. And on all 3 tv sets. Go up to channel 16.1 and everything is fine. All 3 TVs! Using a Jack antenna. Has worked fine in the past. Tried to activate my directv but had no color or sound. Thought bad receiver. Now I wonder. Going to call them tomorrow. Try it with the dinning room light off! Everyone thinks I'm nuts until I show them.

Sounds like either a short or a bad ground somewhere.

Put a magnetic choke on the wires just before the socket and that will (or should) fix the problem.
