Small tear in roof

Cleaning our roof the other day I noticed a small tear in the rubber. I put some Dicor sealant on it, but the sealant is kind of bubbling. Is there other options? what about the repair tape? Is that a better fix?

Google Eternabond tape. Even some walmarts carry small patch kits. Most popular is the 4 and 6 inch rolls. If you buy online get a can of their cleaner with your order and watch some videos of installations.
