Need help!!!!

I am new to this forum and a new owner of a jayco popup. When attempting to lift the roof up this morning to pop up the roof and air out the camper, I missed one of the latches on the top partially. I cracked it up a bit and then discovered the latch still attached. Now, I can not get the right front corner to lift up with the rest of the roof. Did I beak something that now needs to get repaired? Or is there a way I can reset the lift mechanism to get this to function properly?

Thanks for all your help and advise for this greenhorn to the popup world.

I am not that familiar with the cabling systems even though I've owned a couple popups.
I would think you could have gotten slack on that corner cable and maybe it just came off a pulley.
I would look underneath or start pulling some panels to see if I could get access to the cable system

There are some youtube videos on how to repair popup cable systems. Maybe that will shed some light on your issue.

Keep us posted on your fix.

Best regards,
Doug

I have discovered an ibolt that I broke when trying to force the top up. Now It seems that the cable is too long to go get bolted back into the plate. I'm going to look for a pulley that may have been missed. Any advise on this issue is greatly appreciated!
