Hello from Indiana. We purchased a Jayco Octane this month and we are getting it out this weekend for the first time.

Congratulations, and welcome to the forum! The Octane won't fall apart, but the tires might! They're only rated for 65 mph.

A shredded tire can destroy the side of a trailer. Safety,fuel economy are a couple of other reasons for under 65

take lots of leveling material...2x6's or lynx blocks, a level, make sure you have tools for basic repairs(sockets,screwdrivers,duct tape,electrical tape,etc.) make sure you have a socket to change a tire on the trailer.

take a torque wrench as well and retorque the wheels after you get some miles on it. They will be out
