In for service

Got my 28BHBE in for service on Monday, after the first Summer of use and above 7000km on the wheels (well my own travelling I mean), I had a few things to get checked, but really nothing major

1- One faucet knob in the shower broke (I guess it was cracked from having been tightened too much)

2- Bathroom exterior door, seems misaligned, checked if water was coming in, but it didn't yet you can clearly hear someone talking outside, if you pull slightly on the handle the sound goes away (and it's tight like the main door)

3- LED awning strip... some LED light don't turn on but it's intermittent, sometimes they go ON, sometimes not.. (since I was under warranty, I decided to get it checked!)

4- I had a slide-out topper installed by the dealer and all Summer I noticed it was rubbing on the slide-out trim coming out and in... I noticed on my last outting that other which had the toppers, were not aligned like mine... Showed the dealer and they agreed they had put it in wrong (in the hexagon bracket)

Should get a call by end of week for those fixes...

Other than that I am greatly satisfied with my Jayco!

In and out in a week is pretty good for this time of year...that's assuming it's all completed. Good luck.

Glad to hear that nothing major was found. We have been looking for a year now to find anything we might want fixed on ours, but so far nothing to do but camp and enjoy it.

So stopped by the dealer after work yesterday to pick it up. No charge, everything under warranty. Took them 2 minutes to pull the TT out of storage (a better experience than what I had with the dealer of my previous TT).

1- One faucet knob in the shower broke --- REPLACED

2- Bathroom exterior door, seems misaligned --- It can't be adjusted, but there's not water coming in they did a water test

3- LED awning strip... --- REPLACED

4- I had a slide-out topper installed by the dealer and all Summer I noticed it was rubbing on the slide-out trim coming out and in --- INSTALLED a spacer on the slide-out room to push the roller away from the panel (Dometic part)

So a good service experience!

Good to hear that your RV dealership addressed all your action items, and more importantly to your expectations
