Ownership in Process

Hi: signed into JOF earlier this month. Can now say process underway to take ownership of 2014 JF Bungalow 40 FER. As new. Owned 30 ft mid 80's travel trailer...no slides, etc so lots new to learn. Not restricted to Jayco but major complaint is why RV mfg and suppliers brag about warranties but a read shows they "die" with original owner unlike a car for example. If so good, why aren't they transferable even for a modest paperwork fee???

Time we owners pushed on this subject.

some do. Keystone RV for one will allow the warranty to be transferred.

Thanks...I didn't check all. One RV dealer advertising Jayco on you tube said roof had lifetime (not defined) but roof material maker says warranty not transferrable. Just something to be considered.....my seller said still some warranty but...no.

Due to the contingency of the warranty being that the unit be properly maintained, once a unit has changed hands several times, care and maintenance cannot be confirmed. That is why warranty limits are to the first owner only.
