jayflight vs. avenger

I have read many reviews and have narrowed my search down to a jayflight or prime time avenger. does anybody have any opinions I have out grown my jayco eagle 10 pop up. I have had very good quality experiences with my current jayco but primetime seems to slightly better priced an thoughts????

We looked at Avenger but changed our minds. Did not feel comfortable with their short unproven track record. We looked for about 2 years...new,used, shows. We finally settled on a used like new 2011 Jayflight 28BHS ( not to copy Crabman) So far so good!
Guess it comes down to what meets your needs and wants.

I have a Jay Flight 33RLDS and my sister has an Avenger 28BHS Touring Edition that I've stayed in a few times here's my opinion. Both are pretty close in terms of build however the one thing I like about the Avenger is with the upgraded sofa you get an actual leather brand name Lane sofa vs the letherette hide a bed in the Jay Flights. We both have the thermal package and we noticed this past fall that the Jay Flight seems to retain the heat better. For everytime my furnace came on hers came on twice to maintain the same temp.Another plus for the Jay Flight is that the Jayco comes with a 2 year warranty vs the 1 year with the Prime Time Avenger.
Other than that I would say it's a toss up. I hope this helps.

My FIL has an Avenger 26BH. It seems nice, but the Jayco seems more sturdy. One thing that I always notice is that the steps on most travel trailers are all the same. I'm a big guy at 6-04 260 lbs. On my current Nash trailer, the steps don't flex. On the Jayflights, the steps don't flex. On the Avenger and most other trailers, the steps flex and creak. They even flex and creak with my wife who is 5-04 120 lbs.

On the inside its a nice camper with nice floorplans. They love their Avenger and are already looking to get rid of the bunkhouse and get a rear living. They are looking at Avengers again, so they must think they are good enough.
