This is getting to be a tired response. My point was a lot of info can be gained by doing a little research on a topic and then focus your questions on what you don't understand or still leaves you with the need for more info. This site will not die any kind of a death because there are all kinds viewing and posting every day.

I am not on this site just to chew the fat. Newbie question or seasoned vet with issues or advice; ALL IS GOOD. Just like there is no bad question, there is also no bad answer. Most of the posters are truely looking for answers and pointing them to "recorded answers" instead of limiting them to who ever might see the thread on any given day, I believe is a rational thing for us to do. That way if there is new or enhanced info available, it won't be lost in the rehash.

Gen 101: Gens are small medium and large, Gens are quiet and loud, Gens are easy to transport or very large / heavy. All of this can be reviewed at our leisure by researching previous threads.

Honda runs at about 54-56 decibels...normal talking sound level..champion you can hear in the next county.
My Champion 2000 inverter genny runs as quiet as the Honda...but I'd still rather have a Honda . I think the Honda will last longer.
