Batteries

Several questions relating to house batteries and storage. May have asked here before but would like to hear from more of you about this. I asked various RV owners I know that live around here and I get about as many different answers as there are different people.
If it makes difference, I have a 2012 Greyhawk 3100, I store it from about November 1 to April 1, inside, unheated, and have the following questions:
1. Should I leave the shore power plugged in? and will that keep the house battery charged?
2. Should I leave the battery disconnect, on or off?
3. Should I leave the engine battery connected?
4. Which battery is used to operate the Genset? I envision a time I may inadvertently run down the house battery, no shore power available and will have the slide in the out position, and the Genset will not start because the battery is dead. Am I just screwed if that happens or should I worry about this?

Here's what I can tell you about my 2015 31FK. I keep the shore power plugged in and it keeps the house battery voltage up. The house disconnect switch is it off. I just added a battery tender Junior today to the chassis battery. I've been watching it over the last couple of weeks with the meter and it's tapering every 5 to 10 days. It was down to 12.10 bolts this afternoon.

I do not have a Greyhawk. I have a 2011 31.5 RLTS. If you can leave it hooked up to shore power, by all means leave it hooked and and do not disconnect the batteries. Your converter is a multistage unit I'm assuming. That will do an excellent job of battery maintenance. My unit stays plugged in and I just changed out the original batteries to upgrade to true deep cycle batteries after almost 4 years of service.. I don't know but would suspect that the engine battery requires disconnecting or a separate battery tender. As WDW suggested, a battery tender would be the preferred way.
