Slides Extended During Outdoor Storage
About six months ago I moved to a home with acreage. This allowed me to begin storing the RV on my land instead of at a storage facility. It makes it extremely convenient for performing maintenance, prepping for trips, and cleaning up after trips. I keep the RV connected to 30 amp shore power and have been keeping the slides open. This lets me pop in there anytime and everything is all setup and functional. The RV is not under any trees. It does get a lot of full sun. I wax it often but the front cap has suffered fade and I've basically come to accept it. The waxing helps but it just doesn't last long.
Question --- Any concerns with keeping the slides open on a regular basis? I am concerned about wear and tear. However, I really like keeping them open and will probably continue to do so if there is likely no harm in it.
Thoughts?
