X18D Signal Lights....
I have looked around this board at other posts on lights regarding LED upgrades etc... I might consider the LED in the future, but for the time being my money is spent. 
I am having an issue with my signal lights however.
My running/brake/signal lights on rear have the following issue.
Running lights, Bright on the right, dim on the left
when braking, dim on right, bright on left
when signal, fine on the right, and left one blinks but it is so faint you could only tell at midnight with no other lights around.
Is this bad bulbs? Wiring issue? Any suggestions?

Sounds like a bad ground to me. Check each light to make sure the ground connection is good.

ok, at the risk of looking stupid, how do I check the ground? Pull out the fixture, check all wiring connections?
I removed the lens cover just to get a look at the bulb, don't recall seeing the wiring visible at all there. Don't have the camper with me currently so working from memory....
Do I need to pull the whole assembly to get at the wiring?

You will most likely have to pull the fixture off to see the wiring behind the light. I would check under the camper first to see if I could find any wire connected to the frame and check that before pulling the lights.

Its a new trailer ... take it back to the dealer for a fix... that is why you bought new .... so you dont have to mess with it...

I missed that it was a new camper.
I'd take it back too, but then I'd be on the road with defective lights!

yeah, taking it back is likely, but not before I am on the road again. I'm booked in a campground this weekend and will have no time to get the camper to dealer before the trip.
Maybe I can drop it there on the way back next week...

Did the dealer do the wiring on the truck or was it factory? check that ground connection. Mine was just behind the rear bumper.

Truck wiring is factory, all RV dealer did was plug in brake module.
Everything else I have found points towards a bad ground, i'm gonna look at that when I pick camper up from storage on Saturday. In the meantime I also have a call in to dealer, awaiting a call back.

Check to make sure that both the TV and the trailer ground are good. sometimes they installers will rely on the coupling to provide a ground which doesn't always work. This causes all sorts of strange problems. Follwo your ground wire from your connector to make a sure it is connected SOLIDLY to the frame of the trailer. Good luck and be alert till you get it solved.

Since it is under warranty, I would not do this unless it was an emergency - IE - I was out with no running lights...
but here is a troubleshooting step that could help isolate the problem. Google the pinout of the 7 pin. With the converter operational, take a jumper wire with an inline 5 amp fuse and go between your 12V power wire and each light. If you continue to have a problem it is in the TT, if not, it is probably in your TV.

Service came out and looked at my camper yesterday. There was a ground problem which he fixed - but that did not solve my light issue. After some tinkering he could tell by the fact that the bad light had been re-installed due to some extra caulk being in place. He took the other light out and after comparing the wiring figured out the one that had been replaced had been wired wrong. He re-wired and all good.
The light must have been damaged or something in transit. Thanks for everyone's input here. Going to the dealer was the right move here for sure, I would not have figured this out.
