slide out problem Melbourne 29

I have a Melbourne 29 with 3 slide outs. We were traveling down from Alaska on some very bumpy roads and a cupboard opened and a plastic drinking glass fell out and went behind the slide out facia. So, when we went to operate the slide out the plastic glass jammed the mechanism. No problem - we just slid the unit back in , removed the glass and slid it out. After that the Slide out made a horrible noise when sliding back and forth. Now it has stopped working altogether.

I suspect something got bent but I cannot find the motor that operates the slide out. I am guessing there are two motors, one at each end but not sure.

The slide out is the one with the cooker and sofa in it (drivers side) and is in the closed position.

Any ideas on how to find the motor, fuses, or possibly a manual opening mechanism?

Thanks

Graham

Does your slide have silver bars attached on each end on the outside? If not then the slide out motor is probably under the couch. If you have the silver bars the motors are probably in the wall.
