repairs are about finished

I'm back. I have some more pics to share. We will pick up our camper on Sunday and bring her home. I'm so pleased with the great quality work that was done. Now I don't have to worry about the side blowing off while driving down the highway and all that water damage is GONE!

Siding and trim are put back on. Now to get her home and give her a much deserved bath!

I think this guy will have a great RV repair business. He's working on opening up one. I highly recommend him! He took us thru each step of the process. I feel much better seeing each repair that was done underneath that siding.

Campit it looks great. Love that extra storage access door on the roadside. I have to auger my self in from the curbside... ahwell 6ft 1" reaches across with the arms stretched.

When suspecting water damage look at the screws by removing the plastic insert from the corner channels. If they are rusty there is moister. Due to the change in temperature aluminum will expand and contract. That has been a problem with aluminum on MH's. The seal on the fasteners wears out and water gets in. If you see a fastener rusting take it out and squeeze silicone in it and re-install a new fastener.
Water doesn't need much to get in somewhere.

Thanks ALJO! I'm grinning big time! I love that storage area as well.
You are so right. You can never caulk enough! There isn't a seam or screw that hasn't been caulked! Water will and does find a way!

Camper repair is completed

We have "Momma J" back home. Yay! So happy to have the camper back to normal and the repair process is over. Now to get ready to do some camping when the weather permits.

The cargo area is trimmed out nicely.

Now that you have her back, you are gonna have to get here re-broken in! Lol. I am sure you will find plenty of places to get her back on the road camping again. Thanks for all the great pictures of the restoration job. The guy definitely needs to open up a business.

Thanks everyone! I'm happy it's over. Time to camp! And yes namusmc65, the guy is going open up his own RV repair shop. RV Ranger is what I believe it's going to be called. He is totally awesome!
