Hilarious Modern Day Review of a Vintage RV

The dealership where we bought our Jayco posted this comical review of a 1968 motorhome. I found it very funny and thought I'd share.

Listen carefully to how he describes things, like the "Non-safety proof glass"!

Love it. Gotta love those sales pitches. Wonder how much somebody got on trade for that MH. That guy did a sarcastically fine job with that. I hate all those fancy words some manf and salesmen use to make their product stand out. Radius - no crap, most every RV has radius windows. Rotomolded - again, pretty much everybody does that. Vacuum bonded or pinch rolled - Uh, not too many other ways to laminate a wall pal. Radial tires - OK, blow smoke somewhere else. Not one manf really has the upper hand, as they all do the same crap.

Well, the one in the video has quick access to the motor, even while driving and that's hard to beat!

I am sure the seniors who could afford these units in the 60's where happy with that unit. At this day and age they are built like a home on wheels with all the luxury you can think of. With all the inflation since the 60's a luxury MH is not available to the average senior anymore.

The tandem travel trailers in the 60's and 70's where heavy but solid built as there where many custom built shops. Now you buy a "nice looking unit" and complete it at home.

Pretty funny! What struck me was the tremendous improvements made in 46 years.

I could go buy that. The dealer is only a couple hours from me.

Almost like a Red Green episode. I think the only thing missing was reference to the symetry on the front & rear of that fine work or art.

Say now, that unit is certainly an upgrade from the "pedal powered" RV in my avatar!
