Self defense

I don't want to start a pro or con debate about firearms and I apologize if this subject has been asked before but...

I have my pistol permit but it's for New York state only. I'd love to take my small 32 conceal carry pistol with me because of it's size but it would be illegal in other states. If you carry a fire arm while traveling what is it?

Pulling over and spending a night NOT in a campground is much more comfortable knowing I have something to protect my wife and I if someone decided to try and ruin my day.

Unfortunately there are some topics that just don't fair well on a family oriented RV forum, firearms is one of them...., and the pro/con arguments seem to always become the focus of the discussion.

There is a closed JOF thread on the same subject matter that might be worth looking at, it may address the question(s) you have.

If any member has an answer to the OP`s question please respond with a PM. As said by Rustic Eagle these gun threads always start out fine but end up in a debate and need closing.

Rule 11. Political, religious, and controversial posts are not allowed in these forums.
Gun support/banning debates are considered ‘controversial’ and will be removed.

As said, it is a subject that is to sensitive to discuss on a open forum.
