Where to purchase upgrade cushions?

Have a 26RLS JF.
Would like to upgrade the u shape dinette cushions.
Like something firmer, can be a foam replacement or the complete cushion.
thanks
Mike

I was telling my wife that we should get a business started for just this purpose. She reminded me we don't know anything about upholstery (sewing). I don't have an exact answer, and it seems no one else has yet either. My plan is to buy some memory foam (probably a mattress topper from Walmart), cut it to the same size as what is in the cushions now (possibly a little larger since it is memory foam - haven't gotten that far yet). If you aren't handy, another option is to take them to an upholstery shop (automotive is probably cheaper than a furniture store). They should be able to replace it in a couple of hours at most - if they have the foam.

If you like to DIY...My wife just upgraded our cushions and mattress with memory foam and new upholstery. I can have her comment here about her experience with the project if you are interested.

We replaced our dinette cushions shortly after we got the trailer (brand new). I do not like the memory foam we put in. If you move sidewards you can feel the hollow you were sitting in. We'll likely change again to a high density foam.

That's a good point, we added memory foam on top of the stock cushions to add a bit of squish and comfort. Pure memory foam alone would probably not be enough ...

And another option is to take them to a shop that does upholstery for golf cart seats. In our community the are plenty as we are in a retirement community area.

Most any upholstery shop will have high density foams available and a hot wire cutter for clean cuts.

I've not changed the foam on my RV, but have on sail boats in the past. I don't ever recall it being expensive, but I can't recall exact prices.

We have had dinette cushions made for our previous TT at an upholstery shop. They did a good job and said they got alot of RV/ TT jobs.

We need to do this for our small trailer. It has a booth and the trailer is 17 years old. It is on next years to do list.

Matress Manufacturer

In our area, what I refer to as the Pugetopolis Region, is a mattress manufacturer. They do it. They have several grades of foam and cut to fit your seat covers.

Try that.
