get a 3500lbs if you use a WDH. It makes unhooking the bars a lot easier whit lifting the TV. If you get one and can't open the tail gate, just reverse your TJ

I'm looking at electric tongue jacks for my X17C. Which ones are you considering? Camping World has an Ultra Fab 3500# on sale for $175 and I'm leaning toward that one. Harbor Freight (I know, I know) has a Haul Master (?) for $130 plus 20% off using a coupon, so it would be about $104. With <500# of tongue weight and a Nissan Frontier as a TV, I'm not sure which way to go.

We had a Barker VIP 3000 on our 197. It was the best power tongue jack. You can find them on Amazon for about $200.00. The 3500 will run about $325.00.

Get the biggest one you can afford and when you trade the trailer take the jack with you...

Personally, I'd go with an Atwood 3500lb heavy duty. As Seann45 suggested, keep the original jack, if you decide to trade the trailer, you can keep the power jack. Atwood has a very good reputation for their power jacks.

When I researched power tounge jacks 2 years ago, Atwood had a large number of negative reviews. At the time, Barker had the best reviews of all power jacks. Maybe things have changed. I would still chose a Barker over any other jack out there. They are very reliable power tongue jacks. We just purchased a new 24FBS and I'm replacing the power jack in the spring. The factory installed power jack has already had problems. I'll sell it on Craigslist for $125 because that's how much they sell for.
