Upholstery cleaning

I have a 154BH that I'm getting cleaned up for our maiden trip to Mammoth Cave. Next up is the upholstery. Is it machine washable, does it have to go to the dry cleaners, etc? I know the manual says professional cleaning but I'd like some advise from experience rather that jayco's lawyers.

Thanks.

If you throw it in the washer...you'll never get the cushions back in. Trust me.

Try Tuff Stuff. It's an upholstery cleaner in a red and yellow can that most part and Wal-Mart stores carry.

Thanks for the replies. I got something similar to what you're talking about I think. It's turtle wax upholstery cleaner. Going to be a long tedious process cleaning all those upholstery covers.

X2! That stuff is great!

Unless you are really dragging in a lot of dirt, all we've ever done is vacuumed and spot cleaned our cushions.

Ok, tuff stuff it is! My bigger concern now is general cleaning. I bought my TT used and want to give it good scrub. I've read some archived post on this and other forums that say just wash the covers and air them. Grandma woods I'm curious if you put yours in the dryer or let them drip dry?

We bought an 06 23FB that had been smoked in and we cleaned everything with a rented carpet cleaner with a upholstery attachment worked great.

Well I went all in and just washed them in the machine on the "hand wash" cycle. I hung them out to dry, and...they came out great! They cleaned up well and I didn't have a hard time getting them back on the cushions. (No more than expected) Don't know how well they would hold up doing that on a regular basis, but being that our TT was used when we bought it, I had to wash the "other people funk" out of the covers. Thanks for all the great advise!
