Cool Snow near Buffalo

Check out my new pix in the photo section, just to give the snowbirds a visual of what 60 inches of powder looks like after 3 days . ( still no road plow in this subdivision)

Pictures look great. Growing up we didn't have a snow blower. dad said He oiled the shovels and for us to clear the property. I moved out of New York 30 years ago.. Now down here in Ga. I clear the snow with a broom!! And it is rare when that happens . But I sure do like looking at the pictures. LOL..

Certainly is sight to behold...

Hey you should come down here by Ellicottville where I've got blue skies and only about five or 6 inches of snow on the ground! But they're making snow as fast as thry can at Holiday Valley!

Or up here in Lockport. I have barely an inch on the ground. But don't worry, I won't be missing out on the fun. I will be digging out my parents and in-laws this weekend as soon as the driving ban is lifted.

YUCK! Time to siphon a bit of gas from a car. Looks as if this is heart attack weather.

I have a coworker in Buffalo this week for a machine checkout, said things are going really, really slowly.

Y'all got hit pretty hard. I used to live in Orleans County, I know what that is like. One of the many reasons I moved South. Hope they get a plow out your way soon.

Friday update: our street was plowed out by a huge machine yesterday about 3 PM. You should see the chunks that he put right back in my driveway! I am now cleaned out, went to a gas station with a fireman ( there is a driving ban, so only carded people can drive) who lives down the block with 4 gas cans for the neighbors. The store shelves are empty, all the produce from Mon was thrown out as rotten, bread, eggs, milk are all gone. Beer is down to a few cases. We are healthy however, it's going to get warm by Sunday, and I have to walk down to checkup on my Greyhawk after the lot is plowed out at the storage facility.
Whisky is still in good supply here, I will pour one soon, as I am exhausted!
Regards
Dennis

I've been watching this from the start and while it hasn't dropped but maybe 6" here it sure has hurt us. I run a restaurant and we've been open everyday, but haven't been able to get any deliveries. I know its pretty trivial compared to all the collapsing roofs and deaths going on in the hard hit areas though. We have been sending food out to the NYSEG workers in Hamburg cause they have nothing out there.

I'm hoping it clears up soon cause our trailer is sitting out on Rt. 5 at the dealer and I'm getting a little worried about the weight on the roof.
