What are you towing your 2015 Pinnacle with

I am considering buying a 2015 Pinnacle and was wondering if anybody is feeling any difference towing a 102 wide from a 96 wide?

Having never towed a 5th wheel before I can't answer your question. We tow with a Ford F350 super duty diesel and we don't even know we have our Pinnacle behind us. It pulls with ease.

I've never towed anything at all with my Ram 3500 Laramie Longhorn. But I bought a 2015 Pinnacle 38FLSA and towed it from Houston to Corpus. The truck stayed on the road and didn't bounce around at all. The back end sagged down a bit but an upgrade to air bags will fix that. The truck also has an EGR and DPF delete with H&S programmer.

We tow with an F350 6.7 SRW short bed. The 6.7 is an OX and it loves to pull. I do not have air bags and go back n forth on the topic. The 5th weighs 12780# with 3020# on the pin. I have the factory under-bed mount and it's super convenient but does limit the hitch selection somewhat. The mirrors extend and give me pretty good visibility. I notice the change in length (24' to 39') more than the change in width.

My BIG lesson, I shoulda got a slider. My insurance co spent $500 for me to learn that lesson.

We tow our 40' Pinnacle behind our SWB F250 with airbags. The truck keeps track of our towing miles which is nearly 11,000 now, and I've enjoyed every mile behind the steering wheel. The Pullrite slider hitch was the way to go for us.

6 inches is not a lot. Biggest change will be parking in tight areas, or traveling in small camp grounds and hooking up. Right now I use my fenders as a reference when hooking up. So that would change but that is about the only thing I can think of.
I have a tricky parking spot next to my house that night be a pain being a little wider but normally wider is longer too so that turn radius also changes. But I'd you think about it. It's basically the same add a 2x6 piece of wood. Yes it causes drag but not enough to really notice.

See my signature. The long bed with the factory installed hitch (25k Reese Elite) with ford badging makes towing and turning very easy. The mor-Ryde axles and pin box also smooth out the ride. Hardly know it is back there.

I tow my 36FBTS with a GMC 3500 Dually with a long bed. It tows awesome and the wider body was no problem. It was very smooth going down the highway. The truck has exhaust brakes so when you set the cruise the truck takes care of everything as far as maintaining constant speed up and down hills.
