Black knob by entry door - what is it?

On my 2014 Greyhawk 31DS, there is a black knob by the entry door outside and it has the Thule logo on it. Anyone know what it is for? I saw a sales video on YouTube on a Greyhawk and the salesman said it was a control for the outside speakers but he didn't demonstrate it. The dealer I bought it from hasn't a clue and there isn't anything in the owners manual about it. It doesn't appear to move like it was a cover for some controls.

Do you have a picture?

On my previous TT I had Thule anchors on the outside wall for attaching a Thule table, garbage bag

Does the knob turn? Could it have something to do with that storage door?

I don't have a MH, but I'm curious what that thing is...?

If you squeeze the sides of it, it will pop off. Under it is the hanger for the exterior TV bracket. The mount usually ships in one of the drawers under the dinette. You need to purchase your own TV, mount it to the bracket, and then you can hang it on the Thule hanger when camping. The storage compartment closest to the hanger's location should have the power and A/V connections to hook the TV up. My Greyhawk was missing the bracket when we took delivery, and Jayco shipped one out to me.

I don't have a picture, the unit is at the storage lot a half hour away. I will take a picture next time I'm there. It doesn't turn readily, the knob is horizontally oval shaped and there is the slightest play if I try to turn it, but I'm afraid to force it and break it.

I did find the TV bracket in a drawer, didn't know what it was for till your post, thanks. Is it possible the bedroom TV fits the bracket and the Thule mount?

The bedroom TV may work. On my 31FS, the TV is mounted to the back of a cabinet door in the bedroom. It would a lot of work to remove it each time. Not sure how it is mounted in the DS. The bracket appears to have universal mounting holes. So, the bedroom TV should be able to mount to it. Just not sure how much effort it would take.

Well, I'll be, a place for a TV would never have crossed my mind. Found the bracket in a drawer and assumed it was either an extra or just a mistake in final delivery prep.

I use the Thule mount to hold my door open.

Amazing thread Kevin.... all my questions answered. Gave us quite a laugh. Don't know that the bracket will ever get used... but I will try to open it. At least for now I won't get rid of that extra bracket from the dinette drawer.

I just recently bought a new RCA 32 " tv for this outdoor bracket after determining that it would be a pain to remove the bedroom 22" and remount it when I wanted it. The tv was $169.00, stores under the couch, and everyone loves it outside.
( including all of the camping neighbors that walk by)
My photo is in the photo section under Saratoga races
