Big awning replacement

Im not sure what brand I currently have, but its big. Runs almost the whole length of the camper so maybe 28 ish feet? It has a support that can be used in the middle (which I have not used since I have owned it). The actual awning meterial is wearing thin near the camper and has some small holes here and there. The biggest problem is the latch system on the part that roles up, is very loose and hardly works anymore. Can anyone tell me about what I can expect to pay for a complete replacement, and are they hard to install. Also, any ideas on where to find the best deal? Being a couple hours away from northern indiana, i wonder if there are better deals there? What about used? Anyway open to any and all ideas! Thank you! Dave

There are numerous Surplus stores near Elkhart and I know of one in White Pigeon, Mich (Bontragers), that's where I would look first. If your a do it yourselfer, installing it is not that complicated if you follow the directions, but you will need at least 1 and preferrably 2 more people to help.

Here's one place to check. http://www.factoryrvsurplus.com/

If its the original... it is a Faulkner 18 Foot Burgundy awning.

Like Grumpy said.. not hard, but you will need a few ladders and a helper or 2. You can find videos on Youtube.
