New tow vehicle

I pulled the trigger and traded in my 2011 Ram 1500 for a 2012 Ram 2500
Can't wait for next camping season!

Awesome!
I have a similar truck with the 5.7 hemi.
I just lock out 5th gear and it pulls great, runs around 2500 rpms.
I also moved up from a 1/2 ton and the towing is enjoyable now.

Congrats ....

I did the same thing. Moved from a 2007 Ram 1500 Hemi to 2012 Ram 2500 Hemi. I have the 4:10 rear which gives me a bit more towing capacity than I was used to with the Ram 1500.

Congrats!! Much like the rest posting in this thread...I moved from a Ram 1500 to a 2500 and the towing experience is so much nicer! Enjoy!

I'll need to get a longer shank for my WDH head to make up the height difference but that's a minor inconvenience. Love the power of the Hemi, gas mileage leaves a lot to be desired but that's a trade off I was willing to make.

Nice looking truck but I can't seem to find the big blue Ford emblem. Just kiddin, you'll really like the upgrade to a 3/4 ton, it makes a world of difference.
