Glad this got back to the OP issue. Got to ask, why do you need Bush Guards? I see them on a few of the HD vehicles but always thought of them as just a "like the look" thing. If you damaged the old one and took out the truck bumper, what good did the Brush bar do?

It's a red neck thing...

I call it a "damage multiplier". Most are installed for cosmetic purposes. If they are involved in a collision, they are likely to cause as much or more damage as the collision itself.

That being said, I had one on my old truck and LOVED it. I will probably have one on my next truck too (don't want to add the weight to my current truck, plus it won't fit in the garage if I put one on). I figure at least I can bump stuff out of the way at low speeds with minimal damage

We have a deer or elk walk out in front of our vehicles just about weekly. We can usually stop in time, but bumped into them three times in 25 years at less than ten mph at the time of contact. The bumper eliminates damage. We didn't have one twice and it cost just over a thousand on one and several hundred on the other to fix.

My late husband took part of the bush bar off because it was falling a part from age.
When I hit the car in front of me with the truck. The bush Bar took the full force of the hit. It saved the front of the truck from being push in.
I have two radiators in there, with the weight of the trailer behind me.( trailer brakes failed)
It would be a lot worst. ( The car I hit I push in the back lift gate. and bumper.)
I was thinking of taking it off,
( But people move out of the way, when they see me coming down the road.)
Then I get out of the truck, And they See that it is a lady driving and they shake their head. I am only 5.3

As far as the push bar I would try amazon. I picked up a Smittybuilt light bar that would have cost 250 to 300 bucks for a 100 bucks. I paid 15 less for a set of lights than I would have paid for them at the local place with my discount.

Rule of thumb if it is chrome it is cosmetic if its black and on a heavy steel 4 wheeling bumper it is functional..

It is black, the old one was chrome. But still did the job.
