Service Fact Check

So......many things that are not in the manuals but great our tech shared. Here is another but I am wondering if anyone can verify:

Tech told me that when plugged in to shore power and battery switch is on that once the house battery is topped off, it will "roll over" and distribute the "extra" power to the engine / chassis battery to keep it charged. I know there is an after market cable that will allow for that but, do Jayco Greyhawks already have that feature?

... don't know, but if you drained the chassis battery (maybe use the headlights to take it down a little), you would see it come back up if you had that feature. Or contact Jayco.

Mine doesn't and Greyhawks normally don't charge the chassis battery.

Is this a new feature or one you had installed?

On mine, when on AC it will charge the house battery only. If the engine is running it will charge the chassis and house battery.

They've been installing that feature on the SENECAS as well as a 90 watt converter/smart charger, but of course they come at a much higher price point. The may possibly be adding it to the GREYHAWKS now as well, but didn't in previous years.

It doesn't roll over, it monitors the coach battery/batteries and adjusts the charger according.
