Fantastic Fan or Carefree Fan Power

I have a 2008 299RLS that has a vent in the ceiling above the kitchen that you need a step ladder to open and close. I would like to put in an electric remote control fan to make it easier to open and close. Does anyone know if there is already power there?

Dale the easyest way is to pull the 4 screws down on the trim inside. I remember reading that they were pre wired.
I had to fish the wires on my Cardinal what a pain.
Good Luck Wayne

I am hoping it is prewired, just a pain to get up there. Why would you install a vent with a crank at the highest point of the ceiling? An Engineer probably stayed up nights figuring out where to put it so you couldn't reach it.

I called Jayco today. They were nice enough to email the 12 volt wiring diagrams for the 5'er, as well as where the wiring harness is located in the ceiling. Now to decide which fan.
