We really like our 2012 bought new with 106 miles on it and now have 33k, not a single problem so far and it gets used. I would buy as new as you can afford. Also tows our 5er with no problems and about every 8-10k miles it uses 5 gallons of DEF. Gets 21 on the highway and 11 pulling the 5 er.

I believe they designate the 2007.5 LMM as a GMT900 platform new body style. 2006-2007 were GMT800 platform. I may be wrong but I thought all LBZ had the GMT900 6spd trans. My 2007 does and it also has the manual mode shifter where I can shift on the fly from gears 1 through 6 with the buttons on the column shifter.

I could be wrong but that is what I was told from a Gm service department when looking at purchasing one.
