Reese Customer service...slow and not very

helpful...I had the question of on my new F250 Super Duty they all come with the class V receiver with a 2.5 opening unlike every freaking hitch and ball mount I have...the dealer sent me a sleeve but it is noisy and why not utilize the 2.5 hitch and strength that I paid for..

I went to Reeses web site and no where did I find a phone number to call..( I thought I looked everywhere, so April 8th I sent a email to discuss my problem of getting a 2.5 shank that will work with my round bar WD....well today I get a reply 12 days later with a 888 number to Tech service..well it was to CSR not tech...when I get the Tech he was like a air controller..half asleep and said you should be alright just it should work etc...wow not what I was expecting from a company like Reese or drawtite....anyway I am sticking with the sleeve until I see a set up like mine with a new shank...they cost 100 bucks plus freight they aint lite....anyway my daily rant....

I have researched this myself as I have the same truck you do. The reese 2 1/2 inch draw bars do not work with the round bar hitch head. I did my research through etrailer.com. I have trunnion bars now but I want the bigger draw bar. My hitch head won't work for different reasons. I am buying the bigger draw bar and the Reese dual-cam set up later this year. I use friction sway control now. Tows fine, just want bigger and better. I agree on the noise, every time I make a turn, it shifts and makes a huge clunk noise with the adapter.
