As posted before the air vent in the baggage compartment melted. Finally got the dealer to get some temp readings. 194 degrees coming out of the living room vent which is directly above the baggage compartment vent. That got Atwood's attention after days of no response. Now the Jayco service guy says that Atwood told him that 194 degrees is Ok ! This is above the temp set for the limit switch inside the furnace. How can that be Ok? There is also too much volume in both the living room and baggage compartment. Meanwhile apparently there's only one guy at Atwood who can make the call on telling the dealer what to do next, and he's teaching a training class. That makes us S.O.L. My Jayco tech did say that on another floor plan where the sofa covered the living room vent (assuming when slide was in) , IT DID CAUSE A FIRE! If you own a Pinnacle with one of these floor plans I suggest you get it checked out ASAP! Can't make this stuff up folks. Just have to wait for the Atwood trainer to finish his class to give us answer.... Oh well it's only a little fire hazard.
Oh yeah, on the grey water tank, after ordering the wrong one, and sending out the right one a day late, we hope it will be installed tonight. (Day 6 of life on hold because we bought a brand new Pinnacle)
