13" Tires on Jay Feather 29A

Hello all!

My wife and are are looking at purchasing a 2007 (slightly used with warranty left) or 2008 (New leftover) Jay Feather 29A and I was surprised to see 13" tires on this coach. My question is twofold; First, how well does it pull/hold up and secondly, is there enough room to upgrade to 14" rims and tires. We recently sold our TrailManor 3023 with a 1,500# axle and we had 225/75/r15 tires. JUst curious about the smaller tires.

Also, I would like to get feedback from others on the 29A. We were impressed with the quality and the amount of room.

Thanks in advance,

Steve, Kelley, 2 kids and 2 greyhounds!

We had 13" tires on our tent trailer years ago. It seemed to move around more behind us when towing. A few years ago, we bought a Casita with 14" tires. That trailer was more stable when towing. Both trailers were towed with a mini-van.

Now, our new tt has 15" tires. I can't imagine pulling a trailer as long as the 29' with anything less. I would think that 13" tires would offer less back and forth stability.

Not sure about that model trailer, as we looked mainly at the Jay Flights.

Wow! Greyhounds! Those are kewl dogs!
