E-450: Where is in-dash Electric Brake Controller Plug

My 2015 E-450 Greyhawk does not have the Ford in-dash electric brake controller. Although in back of the vehicle it has the seven-pin plug with the hitch I assume vehicle is pre-wired with a Ford connector plug inside of the dash. I would like to plug in a Tekonsha P2 utilizing the 3034-P pigtail . Removed the blank coin holder cavity combination at the top center portion of my dash and found no wires where the OEM controller would have gone. If anyone has any idea where I can find this connector plug I would appreciate your response. Thanks.

My 2014 should be about the same. It was on the drivers side, close to the engine cover. I took the lower cover off, and looked all around the steering column and just about gave up, then looked to the side and there it was. If I had known where it was I could have just reached up a little and pulled it out.

I have a large 8 pin plug that is open and attached to the dash immediately below the steering column but it doesn't look anything like the 3034-P pigtail that would plug in to it so I assume that is the computer input plug for my vehicle on-board computer system. Will have to go to storage and check my vehicle to see where you suggested: up and hanging there close to the cowling on the driver's side.

It will be an open plug, nothing plugged into it. I could have just reached up behind the curled up part of the lower dash and pulled it out. I have the same brake controller as you.
