4 Steps

Thinking about changing my folding three step entry steps to 4 steps for the kids and parents to make thing easier. They will go on my Eagle 328 RLTS. I recently looked at a Fuzion toy hauler and it had some stout steps on it with the four step configuration. I haven't measured yet, but thought I would see what brands work well or if I anybody has converted from three steps to four.

Thanks, Bigiron.

Do they go all the way to the ground? I would make sure they will clear a curb. I park in front of my house and my wifes grandparents house a lot and have to move the trailer around to get it to clear the curb/sidewalk.

I bought a folding step that I can place under the rear step for kids, and the dog.
Only needed if the camp site has a backward slope causing the rear of the trailer to be somewhat higher than normal.

A folding step would be cheaper and easier..

I too went with the folding step. I got this model from CW (also available from AMAZON) and it either sits flush on the ground or is raised up 3-inches when you fold out the short feet. Was perfect for us in our OFF-ROAD POPUP that has 15-inch wheels and sits very high off the ground and the OEM steps was obviously short getting to the ground. That last step coming down the steps is a killer haha...

Another feature with using this folding step is it has a very heavy duty grate and you can really stomp your feet on this platform before entering the trailer...

Since it folds up it makes for easy transport and you can stack alot of items on top of it...

Yep, I see what you mean by the folding step. I priced out the quad steps and they are pricey. I think I'll try a step first and see how that works.

Thanks for the replies!
