fan for heat duct

Has anyone put a inline fan in heat duct to boost air flow to bedrooms to help with heat, the blower doesn't have enough power to have good air flow

Maybe a 12 volt computer case fan? They come in all sizes.

What type of unit do you have? Most units are designed for temps above 33F (0 C) and the capacity of furnace design is usual at minimum for any particular unit.
I would check for flattened ducts or look at buying a increased BTU furnace.

You may want to try one of these 4" 12VDC duct fans.. it claims it is QUIET.. Looks like it could be modified rather easily to fit your needs and not expensive.

Or you could try partially blocking the other vents to force more into the front one. Kind of like you do in a home forced air system to balance out the air flows.

My experience is that RV HVAC is a system of compromise to get the result you are looking for at different times of the day and different seasons. Like the poster said, you can effect the airflow into and away from different parts of the camper by partially covering the vents. In the evening if more heat is needed in bedroom areas, block off one of the main cabin vents and you'll get more heat in the bedrooms. Reverse this during the day to heat up the main living area. No real need to mess with vent fans since you can achieve the same result by just adjusting the vents. If you are hooked up to shore power, then use of small space heaters will solve your problem.

My $.02.
See if you can tell if any of the ducts are partial crushed. As seen on this site it can happen. I assume you are camping with hookups since an additional fan would draw your batteries down even faster, if so, I would just add a small electric Heater. If you are boondocking then you may need to add an additional battery or two. If you do add the Booster fan the I would add a variable switch to it so I could adjust the speed at which it runs.
