My TT battery boxes has Vent holes on top of the boxes. I plugged with hot glue and no more water gets in. Gasses can still vent out the cable holes.

I added this to the front of my TT.

As part of the install, I rewired the poorly wired factory setup that used wire nuts. Really, unsealed wirenuts??? I found the connections were rusty and replaced that wire with 10ga silicone insulted wire I got from a local car stereo installer. I also added a fuse block to separate the circuits that were all tied together which should help isolate any future issues that may pop up.

The box seals well enough to keep water out, but not so tight that the battery gasses cannot vent.

I fabricated a terminal block to make the connections to the battery.

You can't get enough water from the battery to fill a battery box,you can always ad some baking soda to the water if it fizz up it is acid.

Seems like a lot of water considering the covers were on. Anything to worry about?
I drilled the weep holes, others may tell you not to drill holes incase the batteries leak.
