Quick Connect Hose - What hose do you use to connect from rv to gas grill?

Has anyone found a hose to use the existing quick connect on the trailer to go to a standard gas grill? I want to get a table top gas grill (like the Weber Q200) and hook it up to the quick connect with a 10'-20' hose so that I can put it wherever I want. Does anyone know what/how I could get a hose like this?

Great question! This topic was posted back in 2009 (I think) but didn't get a lot of response. Don still hasn't found a quick connect hose to bbq, but gave up looking last year.

So how 'bout it, anyone have this hose/quick connect? And if so, where did you buy it?

Gas grill connection

I went to a gas company and had them make up a 6ft gas line with a male connection on one end and the correct size female on the other. Also got the correct quick connect that attached to the camper gas line that was already under the trailer. This works great.

BHoyle57 - do you mean a propane distributor? If not, what do you mean by a "gas company". Thanks.

I got a 40 foot hose as well as other accessories from my local propane company that comes out to fill my house tank. They are good about doing things for a fair price -- they seem to like doing things that will cause us to use more propane.

I will have to look and see if I have a quick connect. The trailer has a mount for the outside table that nobody seems to have.

I got our extension hose from an LP dealer too. They sell it by the foot.

I have seen them for sale at Menard's (local home improvement chain) I'll check the price next time I'm there.

We don't have a Menards here, but I think we tried to find one at the Menards in the Milwaukee area..... no luck

No luck at the three CW's we tried either. I will have to check them online.

I'll give the propane dealers here locally a call this morning to see if they can hook us up (pun intended *giggle*)

Thanks

healthi, when I said that CW had the parts you can buy a hose but then you have to buy connectors and put them on the hose they dont have hose's already made. Unless you get the one made to go on a bulk tank I think that they were made for a Mr. Heater but have the same quick connect as RV BBQ.

I think the two parts above will go from the quick connect to a portable grill. But the quick connect is a regulated line so you would have to by pass the regulator on the portable grill?
