New RVer

New to RVing, Just found out about this forum. We picked up a previously owned 2001 Kiwi 17A back in May. It had been sitting unused since 2006 and just needed a little rejuvenation; new tires, roof sealing (slight water damage),
and still needs a good polishing but for what we paid, it was a real bargain (okay, except for the registration fees not paid for 7 years). Have had it out 3 times now and are really enjoying it. Just picked up some Pop up Gizmos and made some reflectix window fillers and plan on trying them next month. We are in Calif. so it won't be too cold ( I hope).

Following up on this post. We spent 2 nights in central Calif where it got down to 37 degrees at night. Only popped out the back bunk and used the previously mentioned window fillers and the Pop up gizmo. Along with the furnace it was very comfortable
