Hi Gserv,

Looks like we may be the only 186 owners here. We have a 2005 model which is a single axle unit. I'm not sure if the 2006 has one or two axles. We like it a lot. My only complaint is the fact that the trailer is very low to the ground and in a lot of campgrounds I have to back it up on blocks in order to dump the tanks. Guess I have another one as well, if the shower control ever needs to be replaced there's no access except for having to pull the fridge out. Hope it never needs service.

Hi Morsecodeham, Yeah the 2006 also has only one axle. The other difference is the way the bed is, yours turns into a couch mine doesn't. It has gaucho seating instead of a booth and table. I have only used it for one summer and only noticed the sewer hookup a little low to the ground when backing up on some sites that have a little incline.

Hope you enjoy your 186 and have the best of luck with it. We really like ours as small as it is. It's a real test of a strong marriage on a rainy weekend.

Thanks Rolly, I'm glad you decided to create the lite/ultra lite subsection. I will visit frequently.

Morsecobeham, I still have some questions for you.
1) Did you buy your 186 new or used?
2) Have you had any problems with it?
3) What kind of tow vehicle do you tow it with?
4)Do you use a WD hitch?
5) Do you have all the options?
6) Have you done any mods?
7)How would you rate it for quality?
and would you buy a Jayco ultra lite again?
Thanks
