Nice. I haven't spoken with anyone that has that V front styled travel trailer. Just curious, how do you like it and does it affected towing in a positive or negative way?

Curious about the V myself ? Would you mind posting a bit of a review?

I have mostly positive comments ……
1. We love our 2012 21 FKV model! Just the two of us (over 65).
2. Never towed a TT before so cannot say if “V” is positive or negative. Me thinks that it can only be positive, both for TV mileage due to less wind resistance and for space utilization. By that I mean the space between the hitch point and the useable TT space.
3. The Skylark comes in three floor plans. Ours has rear shower\bath. Seems to be more logical than a “V bath” floor plan which would put the bathroom right inside the door instead of entering the kitchen as we do.
4. A negative is that the DVD remote will not control the unit from any sitting area – we have to be in the kitchen for the line-of-sight signal to work at all.
5. As stock, the roof air conditioner normally runs continuously so I modded the unit to turn on and off like a normal home air conditioner. My mod also replaces the propane furnace thermostat with a modern digital one. Here is one link for such a mod. http://www.modmyrv.com/2008/07/14/rv-digital-thermostat I’m sure you can “google” for other links.
6. No negative per se but I also added the Progressive Industries 30 amp Hardwire Surge Protector (EMS-HW30C) for added electrical system protection.
7. I installed the Reese SC66151 weight distributing kit which I’m sure helps my Tacoma maneuver the interstates at 65 – 70mph.
8. I installed a Fulton Bulldog 3,500 lbs. A-frame powered RV jack (model 500187) to relieve my jack cranking exertion.
The most common question we get when camping is “where’s the propane?” which I answered in one of the photos. I’ll answer specific questions if I can ……………

Try installing a blind spot mirror ( http://www.autozone.com/exterior/bli...mString=search ) over the microwave or on one of the kitchen cabinets.

A better solution:

Sunweb Infrared Remote Control Receiver + Emitter + USB Adaptor for IR Extender Repeater https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00FPI18C6..._iiJKub1HQQE7P

It works every time, no need for aiming...

Handsome TT....One of my Jayco Favorites and it's a shame it was discontinued.
