CW pricing

How does CW stay competitive in retail sales? I get their "sales" e-mails and compared their sale price on a pair of x-chocks to Amazon's regular price. CW has the chocks on sale at $95.90 a pair (plus shipping I assume) down from their regular price of $114.99. Amazon and has same chocks at $60.30 plus free shipping. I can see some minor price differences between retailers but not a difference that large.

And in many cases CW and Cabelas hit you with the dreaded large or bulky item shipping surcharge of 9 to 14 bucks making them even less competitive.

I like browsing at CW but seldom buy from them.
Most of the tings I need I buy through Amazon. It's hard to beat their prices.
