Spring Maintenance

I am taking my 2005 Jayco Escapade Class C 28 ft out of winter storage. What do I need to de-winterize it and prepare for use. I am guessing draining the antifreeze, oil change for both the engine and generator. What else?

Several things I do each year, others I'm sure can add to this list. In no particular order, they include: checking coach and chassis batteries, recharge if necessary. Connect to shore power and check slideouts, lights etc. Turn on refrigerator and check on electric and propane to make sure it is working properly. I also add some bottled water and soft drinks to the fridge to make sure it is cooling and a couple of ice trays in the freezer compartment. I do not add any food to the fridge until I am sure it works. Turn off bypass for water heater and fill it up and add some water to fresh water tank. Check the AC and furnace and run them both to make sure they work properly. Open awning and check. Inspect all the tires and add air if necessary. As you mentioned, change oil in vehicle and generator. If you are comfortable with going up top, check the roof if stored outside for leaves, debris, damage etc. Check tv antenna for proper operation and lubricate if necessary. That's about all I can think of at the moment, I'm sure I forgot something but as you can see it is mainly a case of checking all the "operating systems" for the chassis and coach for proper operation. Let us know if you have more questions.

I will be taking mine out of storage this weekend. I changed the oil before putting it in storage so I do not plan on doing that, but will have to sanitize the fresh water system plus all the other items mentioned.
