Nice looking job! I love doing mods like that, where you have to get more creative than they are at the factory! LOL

It is a zero clearence fireplace. So there is no minimum required. The TV was factory installed. I had to change the mount slightly to add clearence between the back of fireplace and the front of the TV when stored in the cabinet for travel position. The clearence between the two is a good 2 inches. I just wanted a good amount of room for traveling.

Now that is a cool modification. We also like the full rear window. Jayco will be building the 2013 Model 328RLTS on November 15th and we're going to stop in and look it over. Hope you don't mind me "stealing" your idea but that would look great in the back.
Happy trails,

Our Pinnacle did not come with a fireplace, DW wanted one so I added one.
Bought it off Ebay from a RV Surplus vendor.

Easy install since it is the same Brand / Model that Jayco uses and plus Jayco prewired for the Fireplace with a plug in the back of the cabinet where the fireplace goes and dedicated breaker in the fuse panel for the Fireplace. All I had to do was plug in the Fireplace.

It was a new takeout and got it for less than $80 plus shipping.

I also installed a Jensen 12 Volt powered Sub-Woofer behind the fireplace, BIG improvement in Jensen system sound quality.

I want to do the same for my pinnacle. Can you tell me what fireplace unit you purchased?

Thanks,
Jason

I was able to get this at Home Depot. It came with the cherry cabinet and I just custom cut each piece as I fit it in the opening. You can just measure the opening and find one with the correct dimensions to fit your opening.
